As the launch of the series of F number plates draws closer- the range will be available to purchase from Tuesday 7th October - the DVLA have announced details of the sale and how it intends to deal with the influx.
As of Monday 8th September you will be able to browse combinations at www.dvla-som.co.uk - but it's worth noting that a great deal of the better quality F number plates have already been auctioned by the DVLA.

It's not until 7th October that you can actually buy number plates from the DVLA and even then you are limited to one purchase per telephone call.
Only time till tell if F number plates generate the interest the DVLA is hoping for; one thing is for sure- and that's that the DVLA are becoming increasingly aware of number plate sales as a credible revenue stream.
